2024 Dr. Pete Magee Memorial Scholarship

GIS Colorado is proud to announce the Dr. Pete Magee Memorial Scholarship, honoring the legacy of Dr. Pete Magee. This year, we will award four scholarships to students demonstrating academic excellence in geospatial technologies, which include Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and related disciplines. These scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in accredited two-year or four-year colleges or universities in Colorado.

In addition to the monetary award, all scholarship recipients will receive a one-year membership to GIS Colorado. Furthermore, those who choose to present their winning projects at the GIS in the Rockies conference, whether as a poster or a presentation, will also have their registration fee covered by GIS Colorado.
