Fort Lewis College Department of Geosciences

Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, invites applications for a Visiting Instructor in GIS and Geography position to begin in late August 2021.  The 9-month position is in the Department of Geosciences and supports the GIS Certificate program, which serves students majoring in many fields including, geology, biology, environmental studies, environmental science, public health, anthropology, and others.  The position involves teaching Intro GIS, Intermediate GIS (vector-based spatial analysis), Weather and Climate, and assisting in the oversight of capstone GIS research projects.  ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online are the primary GIS software applications used in the department.
