Database – Tips, Tricks, and Best Practices

Date(s) - 07/28/2016
9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Sunflower Theater - Cortez

Many brew beer but how many have brewed a beer database?  Seven years of Great American Beer Festival beer and breweries information turned into a GIS work in progress (so many new delicious brews!).

Join us July 28, 2016 in Cortez at the next GIS Colorado meeting to go over some design, table and querying best practices using some cool stats from GABF participating breweries and their beers.  Joins/relates, data extraction and PostgreSQL if time permits.  Prior experience with SQL or PostgreSQL helpful but not required.  Bring your own computer with SQL Server Express (free) and PostgreSQL installed.
